2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) by your browser.
Similar technologies include localStorage/sessionStorage, pixels, SDKs, and other identifiers that store or access information on your device.
For simplicity, we refer to all of these as “cookies” unless otherwise specified.
3. What we use on this Website
We use:
- Strictly necessary technical storage (always active; no consent required)
- Optional technologies (used only if you consent via our banner/settings)
3.1 Strictly necessary technical storage (always active)
These items are necessary to operate core features you explicitly request (e.g., access control and remembering consent choices). They are stored in your browser localStorage and do not require your consent.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
opposit_age_verified |
localStorage | Remembers that you confirmed you are of legal drinking age, so we can grant access | 90 days (then you will be asked again) |
opposit_cookie_consent |
localStorage | Stores your cookie preferences (which optional categories you accepted/rejected), including a timestamp and a policy version identifier | Until you delete it or reset preferences |
Legal basis: legitimate interest in ensuring Website security/functionality and/or necessity to provide the service you request (age-gate access and preference storage).
3.2 Optional technologies (only with your consent)
You can choose whether to enable the following categories in our Cookie settings panel:
-
Analytics cookies (category key:
analytics) – Google Analytics (GA4) loads only if enabled. -
Marketing cookies (category key:
marketing) – controls Google Analytics advertising features (Google signals and ad-personalization signals). At launch we do not deploy separate advertising/remarketing pixels; this category currently affects only these Google Analytics features. -
Embedded content (Typeform, etc.) (category key:
thirdparty_embeds) – Typeform embed loads only if enabled.
Legal basis for optional categories: your consent.
4. Details by category
4.1 Analytics (Google Analytics – GA4)
When enabled, Google Analytics may set cookies and/or identifiers to distinguish users and sessions and produce aggregated statistics. The exact cookie names and durations can vary depending on Google’s configuration and updates. Typical examples include:
| Example name | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Distinguishes users for analytics | Up to 2 years | |
_ga_<container> |
Persists session state | Up to 2 years |
We configure analytics to run only after your consent. We also configure IP anonymization where supported by the tool. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 6).
4.2 Marketing cookies (Google Analytics advertising features)
If enabled, this category allows Google Analytics to use advertising-related features such as Google signals and ad-personalization signals. If disabled, we keep those features off.
If in the future we add separate marketing/remarketing tags (e.g., pixels), we will update this Cookie Policy accordingly and ensure they load only after your consent.
4.3 Embedded content (Typeform, etc.)
If enabled, the Typeform embed may set cookies and/or use similar technologies to provide the form, detect abuse, measure performance, and deliver the embedded experience. These technologies are controlled by Typeform and may involve additional providers.
5. Third-country transfers
Some providers (e.g., Google, Typeform and their sub-processors) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers are safeguarded using appropriate mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses and/or other lawful safeguards). Details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
6. How to manage your preferences
You can manage your preferences at any time by:
- Using the “Cookie settings” link (available in the footer on this Website) and toggling categories ON/OFF.
- Deleting local storage and cookies in your browser settings (this may reset the age gate and your choices).
- Configuring browser settings to block cookies (note: this may reduce functionality and may prevent certain features from working).
Withdrawing consent: If you disable a category, we will stop loading related scripts from that point forward. Previously set third-party cookies may remain until they expire or you delete them via your browser.
7. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technologies or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will indicate the latest version.
